Christopher J. Moreau President & Chief Executive Officer
Christopher Moreau was appointed president and chief executive officer of Miraculins Inc. in February 2007. Previous to his appointment as president & CEO, Mr. Moreau served as Miraculins' vice-president of business development since joining the Company in March 2006.
Mr. Moreau brings over 25 years of experience in the areas of business development, sales, marketing and operations management. He has held several senior executive roles in sales and marketing within the telecommunications and manufacturing sectors.
Prior to joining Miraculins, Mr. Moreau was the president of Advansis Capital Corporation, a privately held Canadian financial services provider.
James Kinley , CA Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kinley is a Chartered Accountant and the Chief Financial Officier for Miraculins Inc. His services are provided to Miraculins through a Management Services Agreement with Genesys Venture Inc. (GVI) In addition to Miraculins Inc, Mr. Kinley acts as Chief Financial Officer for Medicure Inc. Previous to GVI, Mr. Kinley was Manager, Financial Reporting at Manitoba Telecom Services Ltd. (MTS), a large Canadian telecommunications firm. He was involved in all aspects of financial reporting for MTS including the preparation, review and distribution of external publicly disclosed financial statements and the conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Mr. Kinley also has experience working with small to mid cap public companies, having provided financial reporting for a number of real estate investment trusts from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Kinley holds a B.Comm (Honours) degree from the I.H. Asper School of Business (University of Manitoba).
Marcus Enns Vice President, Corporate Affairs
Marcus Enns is vice-president, corporate affairs of Miraculins Inc. In this capacity, he oversees contract and administration functions and plays a major role in company financings. Mr. Enns has considerable experience raising capital for public and private biotechnology companies and has worked with both TSX, and TSX Venture Exchange listed companies. His services are provided to Miraculins Inc. through an agreement with Genesys Venture Inc.
Mr. Enns joined Genesys Venture Inc. in 2000. Prior to joining Genesys Venture Inc., he was employed in the banking industry.
Mr. Enns holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hon.) from the University of Manitoba.
Paul Moreau Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Moreau brings 26 years of diverse marketing, sales, business development, funding, investor relations, client relations, communications and operations management experience to Miraculins, having held senior executive positions in both the private and public sector.
He has worked extensively in the wealth management industry where as Vice President with Loring Ward International Ltd. and Assante Asset Management Ltd. (he also worked with Loring Ward Investment Counsel Ltd. and Investors Group), he managed the marketing and client development needs of over 1,500 financial advisors across Canada and the U.S. Most recently he was the head of business development for the National Screen Institute, Canada’s prestigious and oldest national training institution for writers, directors and producers working in film, television and digital media.
As Vice President, Sales & Marketing Mr. Moreau’s primary focus with Miraculins will be the development and management of all marketing, sales and distribution initiatives for the PREVU* Skin Cholesterol Test.
L. Michael Coutts Director, Business Development
Michael Coutts formally joined Miraculins in 2010, after providing services to the Company through its agreement with management services provider Genesys Venture Inc. beginning in 2002. Mr. Coutts has played a key role in Miraculins’ in-licensing, partnering and acquisition of development programs.
As director, business development, he works closely with senior leadership maintaining a focus on growing the organization, cultivating new opportunities and initiating projects to support the Company's strategic objectives. Mr. Coutts also serves the Manitoba life sciences community as a member of the board of directors of the Life Sciences Association of Manitoba (LSAM).
Mr. Coutts' prior professional experience is predominantly entrepreneurial based and includes building and spending several years focused on the management, operations and development of a small business. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brandon University
